Wing Contest At Bub's Dive Bar 9/9

"Good move," he says when I raise on a pair of Sixes. But he quickly puts me in my place on the next hand when I call a $300 raise with a Queen, Ten in my hand. "Stupid move. What were you thinking?" After the game we decide to head out with Gold and his crew to Tao. The place is packed but a path is immediately cleared for us with Gold leading the way. Lance Bass, P. Diddy, Danny Masterson and Jamie Kennedy are among the crowd as I kick off my first night at Sundance.

Silicon Valley is home to several trendy bars and clubs such as Johnny V's, Trials Pub, Hedley Club, The Old Pro Bar, Harry's Hofbrau, Kirby's Sports Bar, JJ's Blues, Scruffy Murphy's Irish Pub, The Saddle Rack and many others.

Unfortunately, club promotion doesn't pay that well, or at all in some cases, but hey - the perks are great! And you can do it in your spare time if you have another job.

My trip began Friday night, the second night of Sundance and one of the busiest nights on the town. Every dive-bar and mediocre club on Main Street had been transformed into the glitz and glamorous clubs of New York and Los Angeles and had been taken over by uptight LA bouncers and cut-throat publicists. One thing was clear: Sundance wasn't about the films. It was about the parties. As see this would say on stage a few days later, "Sundance is winter's Spring Break!" For this week, the signs read Tao, Marquee and Motorola Lounge. Instead of beer-bellied regulars, the bars were filled with Hollywood's hottest crop of young actors including Sienna Miller, Josh Hartnett, Justin Timberlake and Jared Leto.

Bill was a pretty good pool hustler and one night he talked me into going with him. We went to this little bar called the Red Door Inn. The door was probably red because there was blood all over it.

There are five of us that used to live in this awesome warehouse loft in Williamsburg. While none of us were hipsters, we did enjoy the t-shirt country within stumbling distance, the almost too loud coffee shops to really get anything done, and the fashionistas waiting to be congratulated for their choices in layering...and piercings.

If you are just considering starting up a relationship from a distance, then you should seriously consider long distance dating advice before you make this commitment.

Bartender: Everyone in the bar interacts with the bartender, and the hot girls love to flirt with the bartender as well! Being a bartender not only gives you an opportunity to meet everyone who enters the bar, but it also gives you an excuse to chat with anyone sitting at your station, including the super-hot ladies!
